Over the years, so many of you (parents, caregivers, friends, partners, and past participants) have asked us the same question: “How can I support what you do?” Signing up for programs has always been the biggest way to be part of the Purple Carrots family. Now there is another way to help us keep the curtain up.
Over 10 years of taking centre stage
For over 10 years, Purple Carrots Drama Studio has been a place where neurodiverse and disabled participants get to take centre stage. Through drama, improv, and performance, our Carrots build confidence, make friends, and discover what they are capable of.
Our studio is a space where everyone is welcome exactly as they are. Some days that looks like a polished scene in front of an audience. Other days it looks like a room full of wonderfully loud, silly, joyful people trying something new together. Both matter to us just as much.
Where your contribution goes
Every contribution goes straight back into the studio and the people in it. Your support helps us:
- Stock our studios with the supplies and props that bring every workshop and production to life
- Keep our programs accessible so more participants can find their place on stage
- Provide financial assistance for Carrots who need help covering the cost of programs
- Support our facilitators, the talented people who make every session feel safe, creative, and fun
Whether it is $5 or $50, every contribution makes a real difference to a small, community-rooted studio like ours.
