THE CARROT ACADEMY OF PURPLE MONSTERS
THE CARROT ACADEMY OF PURPLE MONSTERS
This fall, Purple Carrots Drama Studio invites you to become a founding member of The Carrot Academy of Purple Monsters—an exclusive school for bold, curious, and wildly creative creatures.
Deep underground, beneath the secret garden patches, purple monsters of all shapes, sizes, and abilities gather to master the most important monster skill of all: The Art of the Royal Purple Carrot. Each week, we’ll dive into a different academy "class," uncovering unique characters, building hilarious scenes, and creating dramatic worlds designed to turn fear into friendship and grumpiness into laughter. From mastering the perfect monster waddle to practicing secret missions through magic portals, participants will use improvisation, movement, sensory storytelling, and collaborative creation to ask: How can we use our unique monster magic to bring people together?
This theme is perfect for those who love character-building, silly comedy, sensory play, and collaborative creation. Whether you’re a seasoned drama lover or a first-time creature trying something new, there is always room at the academy desk for one more purple monster.
No acting experience required. Just curiosity (and maybe a few funny sounds).
INCLUDES: drama, music & movement, visual art, and relaxation
Max. group size: 8 participants | 2 facilitators
GOALS: Get creative & have fun while improving mental wellness, self-awareness, confidence, and social skills. At the end of the workshop, our Carrots will have a final purple production to share with family & friends!

A Note on Commitment & Attendance
Our workshops are small and intentionally capped at 8 participants to ensure each person has space to grow, connect, and contribute meaningfully. Because of this, we ask everyone to treat their registration as a commitment to the full 8 weeks. While we understand that life happens and occasional absences may occur, missing multiple sessions can impact not only your experience but the group dynamic as a whole. Please review our cancellation policy and reach out in advance if you foresee any conflicts. We deeply value your time and energy — and want to ensure every Carrot gets the full benefit of our shared creative journey.
PURPLE CARROTS IN-SESSION CANCELLATION POLICY
In rare circumstances where Purple Carrots Drama Studio must cancel a workshop session due to factors beyond our control — including but not limited to severe weather, facility issues, public safety concerns, or instructor illness — Purple Carrots reserves the right to cancel the affected session.
Where a session is cancelled by Purple Carrots:
Refunds will not be issued.
Participants may receive a partial credit or make-up option, at Purple Carrots’ discretion, based on the nature and duration of the cancellation.
Credits, where issued, will be applied to the participant’s account and may be used toward future Purple Carrots programs. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
For multi-session programs (including workshops and camps), a cancelled session does not constitute cancellation of the full program. Purple Carrots makes all reasonable efforts to minimize disruptions and appreciates your understanding when safety-related decisions are required.
